That's the fact worth acting on. Neither document was retrievable, so no architectural committee process could be confirmed and no window covering rule was found in either association. We won't describe a rule we haven't read. Interiors are rarely governed anyway. What gets asked about is anything mounting on the outside wall, so an exterior solar shade or a retractable awning wants written approval from the correct board before we order.
